Cooking Guide

Preheat: Preheat your oven to 160°C.

Season: Generously season the shanks with salt, pepper, and your favourite herbs.

Prepare: Place the shanks in a roasting pan with vegetables and broth or wine.

Roast: Cook for approximately 2.5-3 hours until the meat is tender and falls off the bone. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature:

  • Medium: 60-65°C
  • Well done: 70-75°C

Rest: Let the shanks rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.

Serve: Enjoy with your favourite sides or in a stew.
