Cooking Guide

Preheat: Preheat your oven to 160°C.

Season: Generously season the lamb collarbutt with salt, pepper, and your preferred herbs.

Prepare: Place the lamb in a roasting pan and add vegetables or broth if desired.

Roast: Cook for approximately 2.5-3 hours, or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature:

  • Medium: 60-65°C
  • Well done: 70-75°C

Rest: Let the meat rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.
