Description

Experience the exceptional taste and texture of our Black Angus rump cap, also known as picanha. This premium cut is prized for its marbling and tender meat, making it ideal for grilling or roasting.

The name 'picanha' comes from Brazil and is derived from the word 'picana', which was a type of pole used by cowboys in the Iberian Peninsula to prod cattle. This pole had a small, sharp metal end that was used to direct the cattle by pricking them in a particular spot on their rump, which is the location of the picanha cut.

Known for its distinctive fat cap that melts during cooking, picanha delivers a rich, juicy flavour with every bite. Perfect for barbecues or special meals, this versatile cut can be prepared in various ways to suit your culinary preferences. Enjoy the ultimate dining experience with our high-quality Black Angus rump cap, a favourite among steak enthusiasts.
