Cooking Guide

Preparation:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (fan-forced).
  • Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan and add 1–2 cups of water or stock to the pan.

Cooking:

  • Cover loosely with foil and roast for 40 minutes per kg, basting occasionally.
  • Remove foil for the last 30–40 minutes to achieve golden, crispy skin.

Final Steps:

  • Check with a meat thermometer; internal temperature should reach 74°C (165°F) at the thickest part of the breast.
  • Rest for 20–30 minutes before carving to lock in juices.
