Cooking Guide

Roasting:

  • Preheat oven to 180°C.
  • Season veal rump with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  • Sear on all sides in a hot pan, then roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes per 500g, or until internal temperature reaches 63°C for medium-rare.

Grilling:

  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  • Season veal rump and grill for 4-5 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until desired doneness is reached.
  • Let rest before slicing.

Pan-Searing:

  • Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
  • Season the veal rump and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Reduce heat and cook to desired doneness, or finish in the oven at 180°C for an additional 10-15 minutes.
