  2. Preheat: Preheat the grill to high heat.
  3. Grill: Place the tri tip on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, then reduce the heat and continue cooking until the internal temperature reaches 55°C for medium-rare.
  4. Rest: Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.

Oven Roasting:

  1. Preheat: Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  2. Prepare: Season the tri tip with salt, pepper, and your favourite spices or marinade.
  3. Sear: Heat oil in an oven-safe pan over medium-high heat and sear the tri tip on all sides until browned.
  4. Roast: Transfer the pan to the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 55°C for medium-rare.
  5. Rest: Let the meat rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.

Smoking:

  1. Prepare: Season the tri tip with a dry rub of your choice.
  2. Preheat: Preheat the smoker to 110°C.
  3. Smoke: Place the tri tip in the smoker and cook for 2-3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 55°C for medium-rare.
