Twenty years ago the Palmers converted to organic growing because Ashley’s mum became sick and this was most likely caused by the toxic sprays being used in the neighbourhood.

Ashley used to staff a roadside produce stall after school (while doing his homework), selling what was in season on the farm. The rest of the time the farm employed an honesty box system, but that had to stop due to dishonesty when someone stole the table! That's when they made the sensible decision tto move the shop into the farm shed.

The Palmers now sell a mix of farm and market organic produce to the public 6 days a week.
